  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix in the melted butter, followed by the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the baking soda, salt, and flour.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  2. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  4. Slice and enjoy once slightly cooled.
