Ingredients
  

For the Wings
  • 2 pounds Chicken wings (split into drums and flats)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder Just a pinch for crispiness
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • as needed Cooking spray or oil Use whatever is handy

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the wings with the baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Cooking
  1. Place the wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer without stacking.
  2. Spray lightly with cooking oil.
  3. Cook for approximately 23 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Check for doneness; the wings should sound hollow when tapped with a fork.
  5. Let them rest for 3 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, let the wings sit uncovered in the fridge for an hour before cooking. Serve with celery sticks and ranch dip for a classic experience.
