A ridiculously easy and delicious dessert that requires minimal effort and brings everyone running to the kitchen.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 can peaches (canned or fresh) If using fresh, toss with a bit of sugar and cinnamon.
  • 1 box yellow cake mix Can substitute with vanilla or spice cake mix.
  • ½ cup butter Melted or cut into pats and placed on top.
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts Optional for extra crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Dump the peaches into a 9x13 baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix or place cold butter pats on top.
  5. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts over the top.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
  2. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.

Notes

Best served after a big dinner or even for breakfast. This dessert keeps well in the fridge for about three days.
